Will your dream come true? There are two key factors to consider.
A man in his middle years walked into a bank and asked the teller, “Can you cash this check for me?”
The teller looked at the check and said, “Sure, just sign your name on the back and give it to me, and I’ll give you the money.”
The man hesitated and replied, “I don’t want to sign the check. You might keep it and not give me the money.”
The teller explained, “You have to sign the check first; it’s bank policy.”
The man continued to argue, worried that signing the check might mean he wouldn’t get his money. Finally, the frustrated teller said, “I’m sorry, but I can’t help you. Please leave.”
Angry, the man went to another bank, faced the same issue, and was refused service again.
He then went to a third bank. Once more, he refused to sign the check before getting his money. This time, the teller lost patience, grabbed a rubber baseball bat, and told him, “Sign the check!”
Shocked, the man signed the check and received his money. He then returned to the first bank and told the original teller, “I got my money down the street.”
The teller replied, “Yes, but you had to sign the check there too.”
The man admitted, “I did sign it, but no one explained it like that before.”
Factor 1: Are You Being Specific About Your Dream?
We can achieve any life we want, but we need to be clear about what we want. Just asking for a “good life” is like writing a vague check to Life.
Imagine asking a builder to build a “happy house” without details. They would need a clear description or blueprint. Life works the same way. To get what you want, you need to be specific about it.
Factor 2: Are You Committing Fully?
When you seek your dream, you need to fully commit. Life will give you what you want, but you must first “sign” your name, meaning you must align yourself with your dream and commit to it.
Many of us hesitate, wanting guarantees and details before fully committing. We might say, “I’ll commit once I see how everything will work out.”
However, we all have the power to decide our path. By declaring what we want and committing to it, we align ourselves with our dreams. This alignment sends a signal to the Universe, which then starts bringing the right people, resources, and opportunities to help us achieve our dream.
Just like a bank teller will give you your money once you sign the check, the Universe will support your dream once you fully commit.
So, ask yourself: What do you truly want? And are you ready to sign your name to it?
