Here’s a fun story for you!
A bunch of scientists who figured out the secrets of cloning decided they should have a meeting with God. They wanted to tell God that He wasn’t needed anymore. After all, God had created life from the very dust of the earth, but now science had taken over and God could retire.
So, the world’s top scientists gathered and called God to a meeting, saying He was no longer required.
God responded, “Show me what you mean.”
The scientists said, “We can now create life from dust ourselves.”
God replied, “Okay, then show me how you do that.”
The scientists grabbed some dirt, but God said, “Uh-uh, get your own dirt!”
I love this story because it reminds us how easy it is to forget that everything we have is a gift. Sometimes, we start to think things, even our lives, belong to us. We forget how precious each day is.
Everything we have, including our families and friends, is a gift from the Universe.
